The Toronto Star - Obituary: BROWN, Leslie "Carman" - September 21, 1924 - May 6, 2012 Passed away May 6, 2012 at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket. Beloved husband of Marjorie. Loving father of Brenda (Richard) and Rick (Netta). Dear Grandpa of Jennifer, Pamela (Jason), Michael (Laura), Christopher and Derek. Great-Grandpa of Zachary, Sierra, Harrison, Chase and Colton. Cherished brother of Dorothy (the late Murray) and the late Bruce (Donelda). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. A veteran of WWII, he served in the RCAF. Memorial service at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket, on Monday, May 14th, at 1 p.m., followed by a reception. Burial service to take place on Monday, June 4th, at 2 p.m. at the Blue Church in Maitland. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
