An Army Air Corps veteran, he was employed by the federal government and was an 11-year resident of Pahrump, a post commander for Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4171, and a member of American Legion Post 21, Elks Lodge 607 and Our Lady of the Valley Church. ?He is survived by his wife, Margaret of Pahrump; daughters, Peggy Walker of Los Angeles, Margaret "Beth" Soto of Pahrump and Maureen Detaranto of Orlando, Fla.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. ?Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today in Pahrump Family Mortuary. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. |
