Walter Ricker ?Walter Ray Ricker, 74, died Saturday at home. ?He was born Feb. 10, 1924, in Waterville, Kan. An Army Air Corps veteran, he was employed by the federal government and was an 11-year resident of Pahrump, a post commander for Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4171, and a member of American Legion Post 21, Elks Lodge 607 and Our Lady of the Valley Church. ?He is survived by his wife, Margaret of Pahrump; daughters, Peggy Walker of Los Angeles, Margaret "Beth" Soto of Pahrump and Maureen Detaranto of Orlando, Fla.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. ?Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today in Pahrump Family Mortuary. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
